How to craft an SEO Strategy for Business with measurable ROI

Oh no, not another SEO blog post!

Yeah, we get it. The concept of SEO isn’t new. Everyone involved in this business knows everything already so every trick has already been tried. Who has time to write more blog posts, do more social media management, “get your name out there,” ahh what an endless list.

The truth is though, most businesses don’t realize how to use SEO.

Every business must come up with an SEO strategy in order to get found for the things their customers are interested in.

If you sell real-estate then trying to get your site to rank high for the term “real-estate” then that is a lost cause. Just search real-estate and you can see that the groups that come up on top of Google put more daily work into their SEO than most people care to do in a year. Its the nature of the beast.

But SEO isn’t dead

My goodness it isn’t dead. Since Google, Bing, Yahoo, and whomever else you want to add to this list keeps making changes to the way they handle search traffic, then SEO will always be something worth doing. The cheese gets moved on a regular basis so you can either move with it or loose the cheese forever.

SEO Strategy Tips

We have compiled a list of things to help you craft out your SEO strategy, regardless if you are B2B or B2C. The strategy is where all things begin.

  1. The focus:SEO isn’t about your company but about the people doing the searching
  2. Services: SEO doesn’t need to target all of your services but the ones you want to highlight
  3. Social media: Consider that social media might help but it might not help your company grow
  4. Methods: How much SEO should be organic or pay-per-click campaigns?
  5. The wheres: Would your company benefit from more on-site SEO, or off-site SEO?
  6. Millennials: The millennials have the entry-level jobs today but one day they’ll be CEOs and they search differently
  7. Relationships: If your business gets its leads from a specific network of relationships, what happens when that network goes away?
  8. Backlinks: Have you considered backlinks to your website and the authority that gets placed on backlinks?
  9. ROI: How will you know if your SEO efforts were successful?

Well that should get you started. There are a ton of other SEO strategy ideas we could throw at you but hey, only giving out some ideas at a time is part of our strategy 😉

Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share. Many thanks!

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Opera.
